Deborah Drury

Deborah Drury, Senior Consultant at Europe Economics, is an experienced economist with over 10 years’ in the field of economic consulting. She specialises in regulatory economics, covering price-setting, conduct regulation, incentive design and professional regulation. Deborah has worked across a wide range of professions including opticians, lawyers, dentists and social care workers, as well as regulated sectors such as financial services, water, energy, rail and airports.  Deborah has advised clients in the public and private sectors, such as trade associations, public regulators, government departments and the European Commission.

Joanne Kearsley

Joanne Kearsley is the Senior Coroner for North Manchester. A graduate of the University of Westminster and the College of Law Chester, Joanne was a Solicitor in private practice for 10 years before being appointed as a Coroner. She was the Area Coroner in South Manchester for 10 years  before taking up her current appointment. She is the Chair of the Greater Manchester Mass Fatalities Planning Group and during the attack in May 2017 chaired the Mass Fatalities Co-ordinating Group. She is the Local Government and Salaries Secretary for the Coroners Society of England and Wales and Chair of the Coroners Society Local Government Committee. As well as her law qualifications Joanne has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and is  currently studying for her MSc in Counter-Terrorism. She is a member of the Contemporary Coronial Law Department at the University of Bolton where she lectures.

Nicholas Hartley

Speaker Nicholas Hartley was appointed Head of Business Improvement and Innovation at SEIB’s parent company, Ecclesiastical Insurance, in July 2017.

Since joining, Nic has focused on building a new innovation framework, managing the Loss Prevention Innovation programme and developing e-trading initiatives.

Dr Alan Fletcher

Dr Fletcher earned an honours degree in anaesthesia before training in general medicine, anaesthesia, and emergency medicine in Leeds and Sheffield. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He is also an affiliate Member of the Royal College of Pathologists.
